Your Dán

In Ireland, we have a special word dán which has many meanings. It mysteriously weaves together the realms of art and poetry, fate and faculty, skills and gifts. The world of our dán is a creative force field that shapes and forms us if we are willing to flow with it. Our dán is a unique treasure that we were born to embody. Our dán is our destiny code - our soul’s calling. Our dán is a gift to be shared with the world.

I realise that part of my own dán is sharing everything I have learned and unlearned with people ready to nudge humanity forward. Sometimes, we need support to stand up and show our soul. As a creative mentor, I am here to hold up a torch to light the path ahead and walk alongside you. I’m here to witness you, see you clearly, and challenge you to compassionately meet your edges so that you can rise into your creative power and reclaim your true sovereignty.

We are being called to rise up and express our creative life force with heart-centred values and aligned action. My mentorship pathway is a personal and professional transformational process that supports you in tending to the fire in your belly and showing up to be of greater service to your life, creative enterprise, community, and our planet.

This is soul work.

It aligns with Bill Plotkin’s definition of Soul as “our unique niche in the greater web of life” or what poet David Whyte refers to as “the largest conversation you can have with the world”. As Marion Woodman observes:

If we fail to nourish our souls, they wither, and without soul, life ceases to have meaning. The creative process shrivels in the absence of continual dialogue with the soul. And creativity is what makes life worth living”
