Moon Medicine - a lunar love in. Over the years The Trailblazery events have been the source for all sorts of new ideas but now they have come up with an ancient one...
— The Irish Times, Feb 2018

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2019. This is an invitation for women who are ready to harness their inner power and reclaim their wild feminine nature. Our next gathering takes place on Sunday October 13 with host Kathy Scott and guest luminaries Mari Kennedy {Yoga Teacher, Celtic Wisdom Holder and Women's Leadership Coach} and Runah {Artist, Singer and Songwriter} at D-Light Studios in Dublin

"A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves - a special kind of double"

Toni Morrison

Mari and I have been sisters in crime for over 10 years. So we are going to explore The New Sisterhood and celebrate what it means to be Sovereign Sisters. We will share our personal and professional stories of joy, sorrow, light, dark, highs, lows and all the messy stuff in between. We will offer some of the powerful medicine that has  helped us to rise and support each other along the way. We are also delighted to welcome artist and musician Runah to the fold

"Runah’s music continues to create a timeless and hypnotic beauty through her unique sound and poetic lyrics." Hot Press

Her forthcoming album MOTHER is a concept album residing in other worlds, a hypnotic journey of birth, life and death concerned with The Mother, Earth and her cycles and how they are reflected within us. The title track is to be released in October, when the veil is thin. You can read more about Mari and Runah below.

Meet our October Guest Luminaries

About Mari : Mari is a wisdom holder, weaver of new realities and inquirer who shape shifts as a teacher, coach, mentor, leadership consultant, facilitator and entrepreneur. In her work she weaves ancient wisdom practices of yoga, mindfulness, self-compassion, embodiment and Celtic wisdom with contemporary developmental psychology, neuroscience and Integral spirituality. Her big passion is supporting women to live on purpose, connected to their innate  wisdom and power. She is also fiercely interested in evolving the conversation between women and men. She brings women together, on what she calls the 21st century Heroine’s Journey, to explore and evolve their relationship to the feminine and masculine modes of power that exist within them. She also leads The Celtic Wheel, Radical Wisdom for Contemporary Women, a year-long online course that has gathered women from 4 continents to work with the wisdom of the Celtic Wheel.  Her work as a leadership consultant with organisations radically connects wellbeing and resilience with high performance.

About Runah : Runah uses music to entice you into different realms. Having been featured in HotPress, Clash Magazine, Contact Music and many more, her debut album, an ‘escapist, hypnotic, and harrowing beauty’ which is receiving growing attention.

The search for the spiritually divine has long been pursued by artists of all mediums, though none have done it as robustly and attractively as Ireland's rising folk pop artist, RUNAH. Her commanding ethereal voice is an undeniable force, driving “Strange" Earmilk

“Escapist, hypnotic, mystique, power and a harrowing beauty, RUNAH's debut album has an individuality and uniqueness whose abstract creativity must be celebrated.”

Kathy Scott has been traveling the world as a passionate student and brave pioneer of practices that bring people into intimate contact with their creativity and power. As a teacher, she beautifully weaves together all that she has gathered into a rich and generous offering. This is a deeply nourishing and powerful brew, especially for women

Annie Ryan, Artistic Director Corn Exchange

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience.  I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level.  Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week.  Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic.  I couldn't recommend her more highly.

Nadine McCarthy Performance Consultant

Kathy Scott is one of a kind. She has a rare and special gift of teaching, her classes are unique, authentic and raw. Kathy has a wealth of knowledge and wisdom and brings together the most beautiful blend to her teachings . She offers unique pearls of women’s wisdom and deep feminine sensuality into all of her classes. Without doubt the most nourishing and beautiful classes I have ever gone to. Thank you Kathy for sharing your gifts.

Michelle Drury, Auriel Yoga Studio

Kathy Scott blazes a new and exciting trail using yoga as a way of expressing her higher purpose in this life. She has the powerful ability to align with Source in a way that allows this magnificent energy to flow in her, for her and through her. This invariably enables you to reach into the very core of your own being accessing the Divine feminine power that lies deep within you. Kathy is an embodiment of that wonderful feminine energy that has the potential to rise within us all.
