☾✩☽ Moon Medicine - a virtual gathering for wild women in 2025 ☾✩☽
“Moon Medicine - a lunar love in. Over the years, The Trailblazery events have been the source for all sorts of new ideas, but now they have come up with an ancient one...”
☾✩☽
The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2025. As we navigate global uncertainty, The Trailblazery hosts a curated series of nourishing online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in these initiatory times.
You are invited to gather online on Monday November 3 at 7pm for a special Moon Medicine gathering, entitled “The Descent”.
Our guest luminary for the evening will be Karen Ward {Shamanic Therapist & Teacher}.
Karen is a wisdom keeper who walks the ancient pathways of this land with humility and heart. As a Shamanic Therapist, teacher and guide rooted in the Celtic and Druidic traditions, she invites others to remember the healing that dwells in nature, spirit and community. Through Slí an Chroí, the school she co-founded, Karen supports people to reconnect with Ireland’s indigenous ways of knowing, where ritual, story and energy medicine come alive with purpose. Whether through ceremony, pilgrimage or circle, she creates spaces where we can honour our life stages and reclaim our own inner authority. Karen reminds us that the old ways are not lost and that we can return to the rhythm of the Earth beneath our feet.
This Full Moon is exalted in the archetypal sign of Taurus, ruled by Venus, guardian of beauty, sensuality, and the tangible body of the world, Mother Earth herself. Taurus speaks to the seen, the fertile, the embodied.
Across the sky, she stands in opposition to the Sun in Scorpio, swimming in the alchemical waters of the unseen amid the mysteries of the underworld, transformation, and rebirth. Taurus, the Bull, embodies the grounded abundance of Earth; Scorpio is the Phoenix that rises from the ashes of what has been.
Together, this Taurus–Scorpio axis draws us into the dance between the physical and the spiritual, the known and the hidden. It reveals our attachments and our appetites for possessions, for pleasure and for physical, emotional, sexual, psychological and ancestral power.
As the Wheel of the Year turns, we approach true Samhain, the great threshold time. The light wanes as we cross into Giamos, the dark half of the year. This the season of descent, dreaming and renewal.
As always Nature shows us the way, everything is in a dance of giving and receiving, dying and renewing. We too are invited to embody polarity and play with opposing forces, above and below, within and without.
This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of Moon Medicine & The Trailblazery.
Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.
We have made 3 free tickets available for those who need them. In service of those in greater need, if you are in a position to pay the ticket price, we kindly ask that you do not avail yourself of these free spots.
Kathy Scott shares:
“I’m over the moon to welcome Dr. Karen Ward back into our Moon Medicine Circle.
Karen is a true bean feasa, a wise woman of the old ways and a luminous guide for these times. One of the OG’s, she has led women through rites of passage, moon-cycles, and Irish goddess archetypes through her beloved Moon Mná community for many moons now.An author, pilgrim, and teacher of depth and heart, Karen co-founded the Slí an Chroí School of Celtic Shamanism with her husband, John Cantwell, and helped birth Brigid’s Way, the sacred pilgrimage dedicated to Brigid, the much loved Irish goddess and saint .
Part scientist, part mystic, Karen bridges seen and unseen worlds. A practising psychotherapist and counsellor with a PhD in shamanic energy therapy, she carries and teaches the Celtic shamanic and Druidic traditions with grace and authenticity. For decades she has been weaving the old and the new, bringing Ireland’s ancestral wisdom into contemporary healing in ways that are heart-led and deeply rooted in the land.
I’m so delighted Karen will be joining us once again to share her gifts and her presence.
Come join us — and tell your sisters. The circle is calling.”

About Moon Medicine
Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Hedge School, Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.
Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing. We draw from a deep well to find practices and resources that support women’s self care and the care of this place we call home. To find out more visit TheTrailblazery.com
You will be sent your zoom link on booking your spot for the gathering. Please keep it safe as you will need it to join the event.

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience. I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level. Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week. Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
