The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2025. As we navigate global uncertainty, The Trailblazery hosts a curated series of nourishing online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in these initiatory times.
You are invited to gather online on Monday December 1 at 7pm for a special Moon Medicine gathering, entitled “Story as Medicine”.
Our guest luminary for the evening will be Toni Collette {Actress, Singer & Songwriter}.
Toni is a powerhouse of storytelling. She first gained international recognition in Muriel’s Wedding and has since appeared in acclaimed works such as The Sixth Sense, Little Miss Sunshine and Hereditary winning multiple awards along the way.
Toni is a storyteller who moves through the world with a rare blend of intuition, passion and fearless honesty. Through her work, she invites us to witness the power of story as medicine. Whether inhabiting moments of rupture or revelation, she creates spaces where truth can be seen, felt and experienced deeply.
This December Full Moon rises in the sign of Gemini, ruled by Mercury the Messenger God and celestial superconnector. Gemini embodies the archetype of the Storyteller, speaking of the multiplicity of truth and the stories that shape our reality. This lunation illuminates the realms of communication, cosmic, internal, relational, emotional and spiritual offering a portal to personal transformation and collective healing.
Opposite Gemini on the zodiac wheel stands Sagittarius, the centaur and eternal knowledge-seeker. Like Gemini, Sagittarius absorbs and synthesizes information, but under the expansive, benefic influence of Jupiter, it lifts insight into action. Sagittarius is the crusader, the whistleblower, the seeker of social justice. It is the archetype of Freedom.
Together, the Gemini–Sagittarius polarity calls us to seek both freedom and truth. Now is the time to examine, revise and expand the ideological frameworks that guide our beliefs. It is a fertile moment to support one another in the quest for meaning, liberation and wisdom.
We are still in the season of Samhain, soon approaching the Winter Solstice on December 21, the longest night of the year. Daylight continues to wane, and the life force (neart) is being drawn ever deeper into the earth. The dominant movement now is one of sinking into the inevitable void that is the darkness of Winter.
The journey from Samhain to the Solstice is a path of letting go. As the days shorten and the nights lengthen, the Earth withdraws its energy inward, surrounding us with death and darkness. We rest in the womb or cauldron of the Goddess, held in the silence and stillness of this time.
As always, Nature shows us the way. All is in a dance of giving and receiving, dying and renewing. We too are invited to embody polarity, to play with opposing forces, above and below, within and without finding balance in the rhythms of shadow and light.
This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of Moon Medicine & The Trailblazery.
Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.
We have made 3 free tickets available for those who need them. In service of those in greater need, if you are in a position to pay the ticket price, we kindly ask that you do not avail yourself of these free spots.
Kathy Scott shares:

About Moon Medicine
Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Hedge School, Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.
Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing. We draw from a deep well to find practices and resources that support women’s self care and the care of this place we call home. To find out more visit TheTrailblazery.com
You will be sent your zoom link on booking your spot for the gathering. Please keep it safe as you will need it to join the event.

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience. I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level. Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week. Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
