“Moon Medicine - a lunar love in. Over the years, The Trailblazery events have been the source for all sorts of new ideas, but now they have come up with an ancient one...”

The Trailblazery presents Moon Medicine – a monthly gathering for women to coincide with the Full Moon cycle of 2026. As we navigate global uncertainty, The Trailblazery hosts a curated series of nourishing online experiences for women who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in these initiatory times.
You are invited to gather online on Monday January 26 at 7pm for a special Moon Medicine gathering, entitled “Souls Made of Flames”.
Our guest luminary for the evening will be Nikita Gill {Poet, Writer & Illustrator}.
Nikita is a luminous voice whose work spans poetry, short stories, plays and audio dramas. She is the author of ten books, including Doctor Who’s first-ever verse novel and the illustrated children’s book, Animal Tales From India.
At the heart of her work is a deep engagement with folklore, mythology and a belief in the power of poetry to help us navigate the world. She writes with honesty and care about human connection, kindness and vulnerability. Through her poetry, Nikita invites us to reflect, to feel and to stay connected to what makes us human.
The January Snow Full Moon rises in Leo, bearer of the Royal Frequency lion-hearted, alchemical, sovereign. A call back to heart-led power and courageous creative risk.
Ruled by the Sun, Leo invites us to feel, create and be seen. To live from our aliveness, without apology. Leo risks everything by offering its heart to the world.
Opposite Leo stands Aquarius, keeper of collective vision and future intelligence. Together, this axis asks us to hold heart and mind, self and whole, expression and responsibility.
As the Wheel of the Year turns toward Imbolc, we arrive at a threshold. Guided by Brigid, keeper of the flame, we feel the quickening of new life stirring, asking to be tended.
Here, Leo’s heart-fire meets Brigid’s hearth-fire.
Fire in the belly. Fire in the heart. Fire in the head.
As always Nature shows us the ways to dance with the forces of opposition above and below, within and without and invites us to attune to the eternal cycles of birth, death and rebirth.
In a world shaped by speed and fragmentation, this lunation calls us back to joy, creativity, and connection born from the heart.
Join us at the threshold to tend the flame, listen deeply, and step forward with care.
This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of Moon Medicine & The Trailblazery.
Note: If you can’t attend the call live, it will be recorded and sent to you by email within 24 hours.
We have made 3 free tickets available for those who need them. In service of those in greater need, if you are in a position to pay the ticket price, we kindly ask that you do not avail yourself of these free spots.
Kathy Scott shares:
“I’m over the moon to welcome the brilliant poet and writer Nikita Gill into our Moon Medicine Circle. She is one of the most powerful artistic voices of our times, and it is a true honour to host her within our community.
Nikita is in great alignment with this lunation as a channel of authentic self-expression held in service to the collective. Her work delivers fiery truth from the heart with raw feeling that has touched millions and made her one of the most beloved poets of our era.
Her poetry is anchored in emotional honesty, giving voice to women and to those whose stories have lived at the margins. With the recent release of Hecate the Witch, she guides us through a potent reimagining of the goddess of the crossroads, keys, necromancy and witchcraft weaving myth as medicine.
It is no accident that Nikita meets us at Imbolc. She carries imbas Brigid’s creative fire, the alchemy of the oracle and the sight of the poet-seer.
I am honoured she will join us, bringing her presence, her voice and her stories into the circle.
Come sit with us.
Bring your sisters.
The circle is calling.”
“We have calcium in our bones, iron in our veins, carbon in our souls, and nitrogen in our brains. 93 percent stardust, with souls made of flames, we are all just stars that have people names.”

About Moon Medicine
Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Hedge School, Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.
Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing. We draw from a deep well to find practices and resources that support women’s self care and the care of this place we call home. To find out more visit TheTrailblazery.com
You will be sent your zoom link on booking your spot for the gathering. Please keep it safe as you will need it to join the event.

Kathy Scott creates an utterly transcendent yoga experience. I attended her recent Rising Feminine Medicine Yoga Programme and it exceeded any expectations that I might have had on a mental, emotional, energetic and deeply feminine level. Her classes are packed full of wisdom, kindness, practical yoga asanas and meditative exercises that flowed off the mat with me and seamlessly threaded into my days for the rest of the week. Kathy elegantly weaves a powerful depth and breath of experience into all of her classes. Such a restorative weekly tonic. I couldn't recommend her more highly.
