As we navigate global uncertainty, The Trailblazery has continued to host transformative online experiences for people who need inspiration, encouragement and connection in these initiatory times.
Moon Medicine has been a crucible for thousands of women all over the world, supporting them to rise and lift one another along the way.
Now, you are invited to gather online on Monday, March 2 at 7pm for a very special Moon Medicine ceremony:
Closing Our Circle
Launched in 2018 during a time of cultural rupture, Moon Medicine was created by women, for women as a circle of solidarity and sovereignty.
Born in the wake of the Me Too movement, Time's Up, Waking the Feminists, and Ireland’s Repeal the 8th referendum, our intention was simple and radical to create a powerful circle of empowerment during challenging times.
Our first gathering took place at Fumbally Stables in January 2019. In true serpentine fashion, we wove our way across Dublin from The Pillar Room at The Rotunda to Delight Studios, City Assembly House and out into church halls by the sea.
When the pandemic reshaped the world, we moved online and became a global circle of Moon Medicine women. Over 10,000 women have sat in our circle. And now, the time has come to honour this passage with integrity.
On March 2, we will gather one final time to celebrate, give thanks and to close this circle well. If Moon Medicine has ever held you, strengthened you or been part of your journey we would love you to be there. Join us as we complete this chapter, together.
All welcome and all proceeds will be donated to women's support services.
The Full Moon in Virgo is the last full moon of the astrological year.
Ruled by Mercury, Virgo grounds us in discernment, care, and embodied attention. It asks us to notice the subtle currents of life, to tend to our inner and outer worlds, and to act with responsibility and integrity.
Opposite Virgo stands Pisces, ruled by Neptune, keeper of collective vision, imagination, and the tides of the soul. Pisces invites us to soften our boundaries, to sense the unseen, and to remember the larger web of humanity we belong to.
Pisces is a sign of the Shaman, bridging worlds between the seen and unseen;
Virgo is the priestess, her body a channel for Spirit to enter the physical world.
The Virgo–Pisces axis calls us to balance discernment and devotion, service and surrender, practical care and visionary dreaming.
As the Wheel of the Year lands in Imbolc, we feel the quickening of new life stirring, asking to be tended. We are guided by Brigid herself, keeper of the flame.
As always, Nature shows us the ways to dance with opposites above and below, within and without, and invites us to attune to the eternal cycles of birth, death, and rebirth.
In a world shaped by speed and fragmentation, this lunation calls us back to embodied presence, compassion, and creativity born from both mind and heart.
This online event will be hosted by Kathy Scott, Founder of Moon Medicine & The Trailblazery.

“At Samhain 2018, while living on the Beara Peninsula, The Cailleach stirred something ancient and Moon Medicine was born.
Over recent months, I have been listening to our community, to my own heart and to this body of work that has grown, deepened, and ripened over seven years.
At this threshold moment on the planet, I know it is time to change how I work, how I show up, and how this offering lives in the world.
We have entered a collective rite of passage and I want to honour it with integrity.
Our beloved Moon Medicine Circle is coming to completion.
This grand finale is a gathering to celebrate and complete seven years of sisterhood and solidarity.
Under the Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse, we will mark the end of this cycle with a final ceremony of celebration and completion

Moon Medicine was initiated by The Trailblazery {Hedge School, Census of the Heart, We Need to Talk About Ireland, Rites of Passage} in 2018 in the light of Repeal and the rising momentum of women worldwide speaking out, stepping up and reclaiming their power. Our mission is to help women to remember, embody and reclaim their authentic powerful selves so that together we can rise and lift each other up along the way. In 2019 the Moon Medicine Global Academy was launched - a year-long online training programme for women which expanded our Moon Medicine circle to include women all over the world.
Our live Moon Medicine gatherings weave together a range of feminine teachings blending ancient wisdom with cutting edge developments in the fields of epigenetics, quantum physics and neuroscience. We explore the gifts of the lunar cycle as a map of empowerment for women’s wellbeing.
